What is SMA Anti Reflux Baby Milk Formula From Birth?
SMA Anti Reflux Baby Milk Formula From Birth is a nutritionally dense formula designed to manage the dietary requirements of babies with reflux. It can be used as the sole source of nutrition for your baby or mixed with food when you begin weaning. The formula has added starch to help feeds stay down and is easy to digest with 100% whey and partially hydrolysed protein.

How does SMA Anti Reflux Baby Milk Formula work?
The thickened formula helps manage reflux by ensuring the feed stays down, while the protein and starch combination supports easy digestion. The thicker formula requires a fast flow teat for feeding.

Directions

1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before preparing the formula.

2. Boil 1 litre of fresh tap water and let it cool for no more than 30 minutes.

3. Measure the required amount of cooled water into a sterilised bottle and place the sterilised fast-flow teat and cap on the bottle. Cool the bottle under cold running water until it is lukewarm.

4. Using the scoop provided, add the correct number of scoops of powder. Level each scoop with the back of a dry, clean knife.

5. Prepare each feed in individual bottles as needed.

Feeding Guide

• Newborn - 2 weeks: 3 scoops in 90ml of water

• 2-8 weeks: 4 scoops in 120ml of water

• 2 months: 5 scoops in 150ml of water

• 3-4 months: 6 scoops in 180ml of water

• 6 months: 8 scoops in 240ml of water

• 7-12 months: 7 scoops in 210ml of water

Warnings

• If your child experiences an allergic reaction after consuming this product, discontinue use and speak to your GP or pharmacist for advice.

• Do not add extra powder to water to make feeds stronger.

• Do not use other feed thickeners or antacids.

• Do not alter or add to the formula unless medically directed.

• Do not warm feeds in the microwave.

Age Restrictions
This product is recommended for newborn babies up to 12 months old.

Storage Information
Store in a cool, dry place out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date. Use the powder within 4 weeks of opening.
