Numark Mentholated Bronchial Balsam - 200ml is a treatment that is designed to help treat the symptoms of a cold, cough and catarrh, restoring you back to your normal self in no time.
Numark Mentholated Bronchial Balsam - 200ml contains three active ingredients: levomenthol, aniseed oil and capsicum tincture.
Levomenthol is a decongestant that works by reducing the swelling in the nose and sinuses.
Aniseed oil works as an expectorant. It helps to loosen the mucus in your chest, nose and throat.
Finally, capiscum tincture is used to help treat infections that are present in your sinuses.
Always take Numark Mentholated Bronchial Balsam - 200ml exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / pharmacist has told you.
Children aged 6-12 years old: 5ml-10ml every 2-3 hours.
Children over 12 years old and adults: 10ml-15ml every 2-3 hours.
Like all medicines, Numark Mentholated Bronchial Balsam - 200ml may cause side effects in some people, but these won’t affect everybody. There are no known reported side effects of this product.
If you experience any side effects, including any not included in the patient information leaflet, you can report them using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.
Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness.
Numark Mentholated Bronchial Balsam - 200ml may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not take this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients or if you have an intolerance to certain sugars.
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if you have or have ever had liver disease.
If you are taking or have recently taken any medication, including medication obtained without a prescription, talk to your GP or pharmacist before taking this product.
This product is not suitable for children under 6 years old.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, you must ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any new medicine.
Store in a cool, dry place out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date, referring to the last day of the month stated on the packaging. Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater or household waste.
