Nicorette Fruit Lozenges are delicious fruit flavoured lozenges which help to reduce nicotine cravings, helping you to quit smoking for good. If you smoke less than 20 cigarettes a day, or are looking to gradually reduce your nicotine intake with NRT, these lozenges could be the perfect product for you.
Nicorette Lozenges are a form or NRT treatment, which means that they replace the nicotine that you would usually get from cigarettes. Each lozenge contains 2mg of nicotine, which helps to ease withdrawal so your cravings will subside, making it easier to quit smoking for good.
When you smoke, your body becomes dependent on the nicotine which is contained in cigarettes. When you try to quit smoking, your body begins to crave nicotine, which causes unwanted symptoms and makes you want to smoke. This is why some people turn to NRT (Nicotine Replacement Therapy), which gives your body the nicotine it craves, helping to ease your cravings and withdrawal symptoms.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding you should try to stop smoking by yourself, as quitting smoking naturally and as quickly as possible is the best thing for your and your baby. However, if you are struggling to quit smoking, your doctor or pharmacist may recommend a course of NRT treatment such as these nicotine lozenges. You should speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using this or any other medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you are breastfeeding, you should take this product immediately after breastfeeding your baby to make sure that as little nicotine as possible passes to your baby through your breastmilk.
If you are taking other medication you should speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using this product, as some medications may interact when used together. This can cause unwanted side effects or make your medication less effective. You should especially speak to your doctor before using this product if you are taking medicines such as theophylline, clozapine, or ropinirole. When you quit smoking, you may need to change the amount of these medicines that you take, and your doctor will need to assess this.
If you have diabetes you can take these lozenges but you will need to monitor your blood sugar levels more often while taking them. You should speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before using this product, as you may find that the amounts of insulin or other medication you need change and your doctor will need to assess this with you.
