Nicorette 10mg Nasal Spray is designed to provide smokers with fast and powerful relief from cravings and withdrawal symptoms.
The product is designed to help you quit smoking for good. Whether you are a heavy smoker or only smoke a small amount of cigarettes, this product helps to keep your cravings at bay.
Nicorette 10mg Nasal Spray provides your body with low levels of nicotine. It passes through the lining of your nose, with half of the nicotine being absorbed into your body. This helps to relieve your withdrawal symptoms and cravings.
Always use Nicorette 10mg Nasal Spray exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / pharmacist has told you.
Use 1 spray in each nostril twice an hour. Do not use more than 6 sprays per day.
Children aged 12-18 years old should not use this product for longer than 12 weeks.
Adults should not use this product for longer than 9 months.
Nicorette 10mg Nasal Spray may cause side effects in some people, but these won’t affect everybody. Common side effects include:
If you experience any side effects, including any not included in the patient information leaflet, you can report them using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.
Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness.
Nicorette 10mg Nasal Spray may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. It is not advised that you use this product if you do not smoke or have never been a smoker.

If you are taking or have recently taken any medication, including medication obtained without a prescription, talk to your GP or pharmacist before using this product.
When you stop smoking, medicines such as theophylline, clozapine and ropinirole may require their doses to be adjusted.
Children under 12 should not use this product. Children are more susceptible to the effects of nicotine meaning it could increase the chances of severe toxicity. This can be fatal.
If you are pregnant it is best to give up without the use of a nicotine replacement. Stopping completely is the best option. If you can’t stop smoking completely then nicotine replacement therapy is safer than smoking. You should speak to your GP or pharmacist for advice. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, you must ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using any new product.
This product is unlikely to affect your ability to drive or operate machinery, however, occasionally, this product may cause dizziness. If you are affected, do not drive or operate machinery until you feel safe enough to do so.
Store in a cool, dry place out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date, referring to the last day of the month stated on the packaging.
