Movicol Ready To Take Liquid Laxative Sachets - 30 Sachets are designed to treat constipation.
Movicol Ready To Take Liquid Laxative Sachets contain the active ingredient macrogol 3350. Macrogol 3350 helps with bowel movements by increasing the amount of water in your bowels.
Always take Movicol Ready To Take Liquid Laxative Sachets exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / pharmacist has told you.
Take 1-3 sachets a day.
Like all medicines, Movicol Ready To Take Liquid Laxative Sachets may cause side effects in some people, but these won’t affect everybody. Common side effects include:
If you experience any side effects, including any not included in the patient information leaflet, you can report them using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.
Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness.
Movicol Ready To Take Liquid Laxative Sachets may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients or if you have any of the following:
If you are taking or have recently taken any medication, including medication obtained without a prescription, talk to your GP or pharmacist before taking this product.
Some medicines such as antiepileptics may not work as effectively alongside Movicol Ready To Take Liquid Laxative Sachets.
Do not take any other medication one hour before or one hour after taking a sachet.
This product is not suitable for children under 12 years old.
This product can be used during pregnancy and whilst breastfeeding. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, you must ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any new medicine.
Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date, referring to the last day of the month stated on the packaging. Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater or household waste.
