Movelat Relief Gel contains the anti-inflammatory and analgesic (pain-relieving) ingredients mucopolysaccharide polysulfate (MPS) and salicylic acid to provide relief from mild to moderate muscular pain. This soothing gel can be used to treat stiffness, sprains, strains, and pain caused by rheumatic and non-serious arthritic conditions so you can move with ease.
Always use Movelat Relief Gel exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / pharmacist has told you. Remove the cap and pierce the seal with the spiked top of the cap. The amount of gel you should use will depend on the area you’re looking to treat, but this amount should vary between 2-6 inches. Squeeze the required amount of gel from the tube and gently massage into the affected area. You can apply Movelat Relief Gel up to 4 times per day. Do not exceed this amount. Wash hands thoroughly after use.
When MPS is applied to the source of muscular pain, it soothes the skin by reducing inflammation and numbing the area due to its antiinflammatory and analgesic properties. The added boost of salicylic acid enhances MPS’ ability to penetrate deep into the skin to effectively target pain and discomfort.
It’s a myth that you need to be an athlete or frequent gym goer to suffer from muscle pain. Aches and pains in our muscles can be caused by a variety of factors, including:
Overuse or strain
Taking part in a physical activity
An injury such as a strain or sprain
Muscle tension
Most muscle pain is mild and not a cause for concern. You can treat mild muscle pain at home by resting the affected area, applying pain relief products or using hot/cold therapy. To avoid suffering with muscle pain in the future, ensure that you stretch properly before any exercise and use relaxation techniques to reduce muscle tension.
Movelat Relief Gel is suitable for children aged 12 years and over. If you’re looking for muscular pain relief for a child under the age of 12, you should speak to your doctor or pharmacist for advice on alternative treatment options.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, you must ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any new products.
