Glycerin 2g For Children - 12 Suppositories are used to treat occasional constipation in children.
Glycerin 2g For Children - 12 Suppositories contain the active ingredient glycerol. It pushes water into the intestines to help stimulate bowel movement.
Always use Glycerin 2g For Children - 12 Suppositories exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / pharmacist has told you.
Wash your hands before and after using this product.
Remove the protective film and dip the suppository in water. Insert the suppository into the anus.
Like all medicines, Glycerin 2g For Children may cause side effects in some people, but these won’t affect everybody. Common side effects include:
If you experience any side effects, including any not included in the patient information leaflet, you can report them using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.
Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness.
Glycerin 2g For Children may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not allow your child to use this product if they are allergic to any of the ingredients.
If your child is taking or has recently taken any other medication, including medication obtained without a prescription, talk to your GP or pharmacist before they use this product.
This product is not suitable for children under the age of 1.
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date, referring to the last day of the month stated on the packaging. Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater or household waste.
This product is a medicine; make sure to speak to your doctor or pharmacist before allowing your child to use this product if your child has an underlying medical problem or is taking any other medicine or complementary therapy.
