Dulcolax Dulcoease Stool Softener 100mg is an effective way of treating constipation. The product provides you with softening relief from painful, hard stools.
Dulcolax Dulcoease Stool Softener contains the active ingredient docusate sodium. It helps to make your stool softer by increasing the amount of water and salt within it.
It also stimulates your bowel so that stool can pass through more easily.
Always take Dulcolax Dulcoease Stool Softener exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / pharmacist has told you.
One capsule should be taken 3 times a day to begin with. You can then take more or less if needed.
Do not take more than one capsule 5 times a day.
Like all medicines, Dulcolax Dulcoease Stool Softener may cause side effects in some people, but these won’t affect everybody. Side effects may include:

Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness.
Dulcolax Dulcoease Stool Softener may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not take these capsules if you are allergic to any of the ingredients or if:
If you are taking or have recently taken any medication, including medication obtained without a prescription, talk to your GP or pharmacist before taking this product.
Do not take this product with a mineral oil laxative such as liquid paraffin.
This product is not suitable for children under 12 years old.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, you must ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any new medicine.
Store in a cool, dry place out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date, referring to the last day of the month stated on the packaging. Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater or household waste.
