Difflam Orange & Honey Lozenges treat pain and irritation of the mouth and throat.
Difflam Orange & Honey Lozenges contain benzydamine hydrochloride, a local anti-inflammatory agent. It belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
It helps to treat symptoms by stopping pain and inflammation.
Always take Difflam Orange & Honey Lozenges exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / pharmacist has told you.
Take 1 lozenge 3 times a day.
Place the lozenge in your mouth and allow it to dissolve. Do not chew.
Difflam Orange & Honey Lozenges may cause side effects in some people, but these won’t affect everybody. There are no known reported side effects of this product.
If you experience any side effects, including any not included in the patient information leaflet, you can report them using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.
Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness.
Difflam Orange & Honey Lozenges may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients or suffer from phenylketonuria.
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this product if you have a history of asthma or an intolerance to some sugars.
If you are taking or have recently taken any medication, including medication obtained without a prescription, talk to your GP or pharmacist before taking this product.
This product is not suitable for children under 6 years old due to it being a potential choking hazard.
Do not take these lozenges if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, you must ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any new product.
Store in a cool, dry place out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date, referring to the last day of the month stated on the packaging. Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater or household waste.
Make sure to speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this product if you have an underlying medical problem or are taking any other medicine or complementary therapy.
