Dermol 500 Lotion is an emollient used to treat dry or problem skin. It helps to soften and hydrate the skin, making it ideal for those suffering from conditions such as eczema or dermatitis.

It is suitable to be used by all ages, including babies.

How Dermol 500 Lotion works

Dermol 500 Lotion works in two ways. It is an emollient, which forms a protective barrier over the skin to keep moisture in.

The lotion also works as an antimicrobial, killing bacteria to prevent dry skin conditions from worsening and lowering the risk of an infection.

Directions

Always use Dermol 500 Lotion exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / pharmacist has told you.

You can either use Dermol 500 Lotion as an emollient or as a substitution for soap.

To use the lotion as an emollient, cover the affected areas of your skin and gently rub it in. Allow it to soak into your skin. You can use it as often as necessary.

To use the product as a substitute for soap, use it as you would regular soap or shower gel. After showering, pat yourself dry. Do not rub your skin with a towel, as this may cause irritation.
