Beechams Max Strength All In One Ultra are designed to provide relief from the symptoms of colds and flu.
They also help to loosen mucus and provide you with relief from chesty coughs.

How Beechams Max Strength All In One Ultra works
Beechams Max Strength All In One Ultra contains three active ingredients: paracetamol, guaifenesin and phenylephrine hydrochloride.
Paracetamol is a painkiller that reduces your temperature when you have a fever.
Guaifenesin is an expectorant. It works by loosening phlegm and relieving a chesty cough.
Phenylephrine hydrochloride is a decongestant. It unblocks your nose and sinuses to help you breathe more easily.

Directions
Always take Beechams Max Strength All One exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / pharmacist has told you.
Take 2 capsules every 4 hours as required. Do not take more than the recommended dose.
Always use the lowest effective dose to relieve your symptoms.
Do not take the capsules for more than 5 consecutive days without talking to your doctor first.

Side effects
Like all medicines, Beechams Max Strength All In One Ultra may cause side effects in some people, but these won’t affect everybody. Common side effects include:
Raised blood pressure
Headaches
Dizziness
Difficulty sleeping
Nervousness
Anxiety
Diarrhoea
Sickness

If you experience any side effects, including any not included in the patient information leaflet, you can report them using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.
Serious side effects
Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness.

Warnings
Beechams Max Strength All In One Ultra may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not take these capsules if you are allergic to any of the ingredients or if:
You have kidney problems
You have liver problems (including alcoholic liver disease)You have an overactive thyroid
You have diabetes
You have high blood pressure or heart disease
You have pheochromocytoma
You have glaucoma
You have an enlarged prostate
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if:
You have a blood vessel disease such as Raynaud’s phenomenon
You have asthma
You have a chronic cough
You have liver or kidney problems
You have a severe infection
Do not take any other products that contain paracetamol whilst taking these capsules.
Do not take this product alongside any other flu, cold, decongestant products or cough suppressants.

Using/taking other medicines
If you are taking or have recently taken any medication, including medication obtained without a prescription, then talk to your GP or pharmacist before taking this medicine.
Tell your healthcare provider if you are taking:
Metoclopramide or domperidone (for nausea or vomiting)
Ergotamine or methysergide (for migraines)
Cholestyramine (to lower blood cholesterol)
Drugs to lower blood pressure
Appetite suppressants or stimulants
Drugs to treat depression such as tricyclic antidepressants e.g. amitriptyline
Drugs to treat heart disease e.g. digoxin
Anticoagulants e.g. warfarin

Age restrictions
This product is not suitable for children under 16 years old.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, you must ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any new medicine.

Driving and operating machinery
This product might make you feel dizzy. If you are affected, avoid driving or operating machinery until you feel safe enough to do so.

Storage information
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date, referring to the last day of the month stated on the packaging. Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater or household waste.
